Restaurant Parkhaus in Altenau

Didn't live up to expectations. Were there to eat. Could be cleaner

I was there with two friends after an exhausting bike ride. We arrived in Altenau after 260km of cycling (against the wind and uphill) with the hope of getting a delicious pizza in the `` Hotel Parkaus ''. Shortly before the hotel we had read a lot of bad reviews but thought it couldn't be that bad. In the restaurant, the table was very dirty and stained. The waitress came after 10 minutes and simply threw the cards on the table without saying a word. After we read the card with a spelling mistake, we preferred to run away.

We went to dinner twice. All pizza for lunch, from small to large. Everyone liked it. The children are very honest about that. The next day we went to dinner, this time from the spaghetti to the schnitzel (chicken and pork) we all enjoyed it. Their portions are okay. I had space that the children couldn't. 🤣 1 star deduction due to the open dates of all guests. Many thanks...

You come in, are brought to a table, unfortunately with a dirty tablecloth. So then the service comes after a certain time, the cards were listlessly thrown on the table and apart from the fact that you sometimes have to look over spelling errors and illegible dishes. Unfortunately, I can only judge the size of the portions from the other plates because there was no tasting for me. So in terms of price, the pizzas could be bigger, but I don't know anything about the taste.

I think the pictures speak for themselves. CORONA rules not obeyed all tables full and zero spaces. Tables not clean. The food was tasteless. Never again. Zero stars

Biggest choke that we experienced on our 260km tour through Northern Germany, after two days in the saddle we just wanted to have a decent meal for two vegetarians and one vegan, after stains on the table, piss in the toilets and unfriendly waiters, we went for a pape went and ate bread. A decision a thousand times better. 100% safe

Unfortunately there is no organization - every waiter serves at all tables and customer requests are unfortunately under the wheels. But once you have your meal you will be compensated. In terms of taste, all dishes were great. So gladly again. BUT: jogging pants don't go in service at all.

Food okay, at average prices. Service and friendliness but still expandable.

Been there with a larger group, the service and payment worked out quite well. Cake and coffee were delicious, cream puffs big but not a hit according to colleagues.

0 stars. Catastrophe. Have each ordered beer a mushroom soup and pizza. Beer was the wrong thing, soup came after the pizza and tasted like it was out of the bag. The pizza wasn't good either ... bottom was out of the chest. And we were still lucky, the tables got the wrong one several times and waited forever to be able to order. And on top of that, NO hygiene measures in place. CONCLUSION: -Coraona doesn't matter -Service / staff underground -Eat fraud in my view

Wait a long time to then get the wrong thing. Rude waiter who didn't look clean Dirty tables and this in corona time. In the end only eaten coffee with cake ... But not again ....

We waited 15 minutes for menus and the waiter didnt seem to be interested in us at all, so we decided to leave. Will never ever try to visit this place again!

That is not how it works. At first the table is not completely cleared, then you are ignored to order. The shop is only for over 70s or people who think the atmosphere is great großart

Nice restaurant right at the Altenau roundabout. Rich menu with a choice for everyone. The prices are good and so are the portions. Very friendly and attentive staff. I will remember for the future ...

Were here today and left again. Mask of the waiter under the nose. Sticky cards. No disinfection. Ordered anyway because of great hunger. After 20 minutes the waiter came and handed the card back to one of the group with the comment "No more rump steak" without apology without further words. Impossible! Never again. Avoid absolutely.

The service staff was totally rude. The menu was dirty and after 10 minutes of ordering you learned they didn't have the dish. Not recommendable at all.

We went to eat here today ... never again. Although the 2 waiters wore masks, there was no disinfection. The tables after guests left weren't even poorly wiped. We were given a list to put in our names and phone numbers. There we also read the names and phone numbers of all other guests. Data protection sends its regards. The terrace and the way to the toilet was very dirty. Now to the food: Jägerschnitzel with french fries and small salad. The meat came out of the deep fryer and was well camouflaged in the fat from the sauce, the fries limp and the salad dressing stretched with water. Even the beer mat for my drink has probably been used 20 times. We will definitely not come back here.

After a long search for an open restaurant, we found this. Service friendly and quick. Loved the food. Schnitzel "Goslar" is highly recommended!

You wait 45 minutes and then ask politely! Then you are told that other guests have to wait. If you don't like it, feel free to go! I went on that. Insolence ...

The pizza doesn't taste like anything, like from the freezer with a little more topping. The salad was so reasonable and the waitress was totally annoyed. We were not at all satisfied
